Autonomous trucks on the motorway

Since 2022, the ATLAS-L4 research project has shown that level 4 automated vehicles can operate on motorways without a driver.

Autonomous trucks in container logistics

Since 2022, the ATLAS-L4 research and development project has been proving that level 4 automated vehicles can operate driverlessly on motorways.

Automated passenger transport

As part of the MINGA research project, MAN is testing an automated electric bus in real-world conditions. Pilot operation of the company’s first automated city bus, with a safety driver on board, is scheduled to begin in 2025.
